A-Listed Kennel Club Good Citizen judge.

& DBS checked.
As the Founder and Owner of Paws in Harmony Dog Training Club for 15 years, the success rate of which was excellent, I reached a total of 26 classes, it was more than I had ever dreamed of.
Sadly it also became time consuming, and finding time to train my own dogs in the sport that I love HTM (Dog Dancing) became more difficult.
During this time I was a keen member of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and was happy with the pass rate achieved with our handlers and their dogs through Puppy - Bronze - Silver & Gold.

After much thought I decided to 'gift Paws in Harmony' to a new owner and start afresh with fewer classes as Staines Dog Training.

Working my own dogs

Taking all my dogs through the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Puppy to Gold
Competed in Agility, Flyball, Obedience and Heelwork to Music - in which I represented
Paws n Music at Crufts Dog Activities for 2 years in the HTM Dog Dancing arena.
I trained a puppy for a local school, during which time the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit, it was lovely to see how excited the school children were to meet her and show their puppy - which was awarded the KC Puppy Rosette Pass by the Duchess herself it was a bonus for me to meet and shake hands with her as well. The puppy got up to a KC Silver Pass before I finished the training.
Another school asked if I would give a career school talk which was a great challenge - I loved it and made it fun for the children.

Having been a dog trainer since 2005 - need I say more, other than I enjoy it all immensely

Since I can remember I have shared my life with a Border Collie.  My love of dogs furthered me to take up dog grooming and I have enjoyed running my own business.  At the present time I have Moo, a gorgeous little JRT and Mouse & Puffin, two lovely Border Collies that we bred from last year (2019) where they presented us with 8 beautiful puppies.  We have kept up to date on their progress  by way of their new families and meet up from time to time.

I got to know Lynda through taking my dogs training with her, which I enjoyed - with an added bonus of getting up to Kennel Club Gold with them.  The next step of helping Lynda out in classes seemed an ideal opportunity, as the classes are fun and I enjoy working with people with their dogs - as well as giving grooming advice which Lynda welcomes.

I am a Border Collie fan, and have 2 of them. Mouse who is 4, and Puffin who is 3. I also have a Jack Russell called Moo who is 12.

I first got into dog training about 15 years ago when I took a previous Collie to a training class for some advice on his reactive behaviour.

I joined Lyndas team back in 2015 with another Collie who has since passed.

There is not a lot more rewarding then passing on snippets of advice to novice dog owners who enrol to classes. I also love seeing the progress that all of the dogs make from start to finish of the course(s).

Lynda has taught me so much, and it is a privilege to be part  of the Staines Dog Training Team
