Puppy Classes
The Kennel Club foundation puppy course is for puppies 10 weeks to 11 months old. The 5 week course is £75 and will include socialisation, basic heelwork, sit, down, stand, play and food manners, at the end of which you will recieve a Kennel Club Certificate and rosette.
The Next Steps
If you want to further your training and for older dogs the next step is the Bronze course followed by Silver and Gold. These courses are again all based on the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme. All courses are in 6 week blocks and cost £75 with a Kennel Club judge coming to test all those deemed ready for the bronze, silver or gold. There are Kennel Club certificates awarded for successful dogs at each level and rosettes can be purchased. For those who don't like the idea of tests, Staines Dog Training run their own bronze, silver & gold scheme, assessing the dog/handler on their ability as they progress. The successful dog/handler is awarded with a certificate.
